How it works

Inlet

Wastewater is distributed evenly along the horizontal filter tank.

Filtration

The flow passes through the pile cloth discs; filtrate is collected centrally.

Backwash

Suction bars traverse the disc surface and remove the retained solids.

4

Discharge

Filtrate leaves the unit by gravity; backwash sludge is returned to the process.
