What is Pile Cloth Media Filtration?

Pile cloth media filtration is an innovative process developed specifically for tertiary wastewater treatment. Unlike conventional sand filtration, this technology employs textile filter media with a pile-like (floriform) surface structure.

Operating Principle

Wastewater flows through rotating filter discs, each covered with the pile cloth media. Filtration takes place from the outside in – solids are retained on the fabric surface, while the treated water flows inward and exits via the central hollow shaft.
