How it works
Inlet & chemical addition
Coagulant and flocculant are added to the wastewater before it enters the reaction zone.
Saturation
A part stream of the clarified water is saturated with air under pressure (recycle stream).
Flotation
Releasing the recycle stream creates micro-bubbles that attach to the flocs and lift them to the surface.
Sludge removal
The float sludge is skimmed off automatically; clarified water leaves at the bottom.
