The Science of Flotation
Supersaturated Micro-Bubble Technology
Our DAF systems operate by dissolving air into water under high pressure. When released into the flotation tank, millions of tiny bubbles (20–50 microns) attach to suspended particles. This reduces their density, causing them to float to the surface where they are automatically skimmed off as concentrated sludge. The result is crystal-clear water ready for discharge or reuse.
